KG was tasked with designing brand new business cards for Weekend Wheels Driving School in Northampton. The proposal was to create a business card which kept with the company branding. The red and yellow stripes which appear on the company cars and also the company font.
KG’s first task was to take the logo which had been supplied and re-design it into a vector format which can then be used in any size without distortion of making the logo look pixelated. Once the logo was completed on the front side. KG created the back giving the important contact information at the right font size to make it easy for customers to read and contact Weekend Wheels.
After completion of the design KG was asked to also print the business cards, after discussing the clients budget for print we decided to print the business cards on a very high quality paper with a velvet finish which makes the business cards very nice to touch and also more durable, therefor lasting longer in people’s wallets/purses etc.…
KG was then asked to re-design a gift voucher which had previously been used by weekend wheels but had no company branding what so ever. This new gift certificate would then be sold and given to new learners as a present from friends or family. The voucher design needed to keep the company colours and lines but also make it stand out from other learning school gift vouchers. KG created a curved design similar to their old gift voucher but using the company colours; red and yellow.
After completion of the design KG was asked to also print the gift certificates for Weekend Wheels. After printing the business cards the decision was made to print the gift certificates on the same grade of paper and velvet finish, giving the company’s marketing products a consistent feel and professional quality.
